Msizi Africa gives malnourished, hungry children in Africa access to nutritious food. Whether they're in orphanages, child headed households or schools; we ensure they receive a healthy, balanced diet every day.
This complements the wider work of our project partners who aim to improve the lives of the children in their care, through educational and vocational opportunities, and rehabilitation.

Msizi Africa is a personal response to the experience of our Trustees who have travelled through Africa and spent time with AIDS orphans and seen that in spite of poverty, disease, abuse and neglect, the situation is far from hopeless.
Nutritious food helps our children develop healthily. It enables them to concentrate at school and benefit from an education to get them out of the poverty trap, rather than having to skip school to find food for their next meal.
We started feeding 50 children and in a short space of time saw healthier, stronger children as a result - but in contrast to the joy at seeing the improvement in these children's lives, we felt for the countless children in Africa with nobody to help.
We decided to help as many of these as we could - Msizi means 'helper' in Zulu, a language commonly spoken in the countries we work in - and we are now delighted to be 'helper' to almost 1,250 children.
